Since October 2017, all owners of quadrocopters and other unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) are required to register their devices with the National Television and Radio Commission of Thailand (NBTC). In case of violation of the order, Thai law provides for a penalty of up to five years in prison and / or a fine of up to 100 thousand baht (about 3 thousand US dollars). Mandatory gala dinner fees may apply at Thailand hotels. Guests should contact the hotel directly for more information. Please note that during the high season from 1 November until 30 April, guests can take a ferry from Klong Jirad Pier in Krabi to Koh Jum. The ferry departs at 11:30 daily. It takes approximately 45 minutes. The island can also be reached all year round via public boat from Laem Kruad Pier. The boat departs at: 09:0, 10:00. 11:30. 13:00. 14:30, 16:00. 17:30 and 18:15 hrs. It takes approximately 50 minutes.
