Additional transaction fees may apply for local residents, as well as additional VAT, which must be paid at the hotel. Payable directly to the hotel by local residents only. Tourists will receive a refund for the VAT Tax, when they pay for their accommodations. To receive the refund, they must pay with a foreign credit card or provide their passport number and confirm their address. Early check-in and late check-out are available for a fee, depending on availability.

Mandatory Taxes and Fees

The following additional fees are payable at the hotel:

• A 21% national VAT is not included in the price and is charged to all Argentine citizens upon check-out. Foreign citizens visiting the country on a tourist visa are exempt from this tax. To qualify for the tax exemption, tourists must present a valid passport and pay for services with a credit card issued outside Argentina or via an international bank transfer. The tax exemption does not apply for stays longer than 90 days. If a tourist cancels a booking and is charged a cancellation fee, the cancellation fee is also subject to the 21% VAT.
