The nearby Moselle is different everywhere and well worth exploring. One of the more famous cities is Cochem, which is close to this holiday apartment. Cochem is a very atmospheric town where you can stroll through narrow streets, enjoy cosy terraces and visit the impressive Reichsburg, which towers high above the town. From the castle you have a beautiful view over the river and the surrounding vineyards.

Suspension bridge Geierlay is a 360-metre-long pedestrian suspension bridge based on the bridges you normally find in Nepal. You walk 100 metres above the ground! The spectacular bridge is among the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in Europe. A must see if you visit this region. You walk beautifully in this area

Kastellaun is also worth a visit. This town has a rich history and an impressive castle ruin that you can explore.
