The city of Klagenfurt, the famous Wörthersee lake and Italy can be reached in just 30 minutes by car.!

The Simonhöhe, a hiking and biking paradise and in winter the nearest ski resort with 15 kilometers of slopes and 7 lifts, can be reached by car in less than 15 minutes. In this family ski resort, beginners, pleasure skiers and experienced skiers alike will find the best conditions for real skiing fun with wide and perfectly prepared slopes in one of Austria's sunniest regions. This ski area also offers a children's and practice area, various ski tours and a snowtubing track. Other well-known ski resorts such as the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area with 103 kilometers of slopes and the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area with 52 kilometres of beautiful snow-covered slopes can be easily reached in about 1 hour by car.

The region offers numerous hiking trails and cycling routes for extensive leisure activities. In summer, the Kraigersee in Frauenstein, the Urbansee in Sankt Urban, the idyllic Goggausee in Steuerberg, the Zmulner See in Liebenfels or the Längsee in Sankt Georgen offer lots of swimming fun!
