Hike, kayak and camp through Alaska's varied landscapes, from Denali National Park with views of North America's tallest peak, travel along the famous Turnagain Arm ringed by mountains, hike to the Harding Icefield near Seward, and take a water taxi across Kachemak Bay in Homer to kayak around remote Yukon Island where you'll look for whales, seals and eagles. Camp under the stars along the way and try to spot wildlife like moose or bears in Denali to orca whales in Seward. Check out the vibrant small towns of Seward and art-loving Homer.This is a hiking trip with some hikes taking up to 8 hours over rocky terrain, so a good level of fitness is a must. Be sure to bring appropriate gear for this trip, including good walking boots, rain gear, warm clothing and sun protection for hikes, including sunglasses.This tour covers a lot of ground, allowing you to experience a diverse range of Alaskan landscapes in a short time. We carefully choose our hikes for their exceptional experiences, and we kayak in Homer as it's best explored from the water, offering an unparalleled view of Alaska's wilderness and wildlife.This is a camping trip where you are expected to pitch in with setting up tents and helping out with cooking and washing up.We will offer an optional food kitty of about USD 30 per day which covers meal costs. By pooling together, we can buy in bulk and cook our own meals, keeping costs lower—though there’s always room for the occasional pizza night! If you have dietary preferences, you can opt out and handle your own mealsAlaska is big. Travel times between some destinations can be long. You'll be spending a fair amount of time in a van with other travellers, so conditions may feel a little cramped.
