All citizens of Chile, regardless of the duration of their stay, and all foreigners who stay in the country for at least 60 consecutive days may have to pay the national sales tax (19%) when checking out. To receive tax exemption, foreign citizens must pay for their stay upon entry in foreign currency (not Chilean pesos) or with a credit card issued abroad and present a valid passport along with the migration card they received upon entry into the country. If a person subject to paying the tax and another exempt from the same share a room, the rate may be applied to the entire room.

• Cashless payment methods are available for all transactions and guests can access their rooms with a mobile device.
• Contactless check-in and contactless check-out are available.
• At check-in, guests must provide either a negative Antigen COVID-19 test result or a record of full COVID-19 vaccination.
• The negative COVID-19 test result requirement applies to all guests aged 18 and up, and test must have been administered no more than 72 hours prior to check-in. COVID-19 vaccination record requirement applies to all guests aged 18 and up; guests must have received complete vaccination at least 30 days prior to check-in.
