For stays on or after January 1, 2021, citizens of Colombia and foreigners staying 60 consecutive days or more will be charged a 19% national sales tax by the property at the time of stay. Foreigners on a tourist visa will not be required to pay this tax. The tax may be charged where a room is shared by a taxable and a non-taxable guest. Colombian citizens must pay a sales tax of 19% with their booking. Foreign guests will be exempt from sales tax. Please show your immigration form at the hotel to guarantee exemption. In accordance with Colombian laws, the only exemptions apply to Tourists with Entry and Stay Permits with PIP-3, PIP-5, PIP-6 or PIP-10 stamps, or the TP-7, TP-11 or TP-16 temporary visa.
