Since October 2017, all owners of quadrocopters and other unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) are required to register their devices with the National Television and Radio Commission of Thailand (NBTC). In case of violation of the order, Thai law provides for a penalty of up to five years in prison and / or a fine of up to 100 thousand baht (about 3 thousand US dollars). Mandatory gala dinner fees may apply at Thailand hotels. Guests should contact the hotel directly for more information. Due to COVID-19, local authorities in Kanchanaburi have announced the following notices: 1. All guests traveling from Samut Sakhon, Chonburi, Rayong, Chantaburi, and Trat are required to provide proof of negative COVID-19 test results at the time of check-in. 2. All guests traveling from Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Sing Buri, Sa Kaeo, Pathum Thani, Ratchaburi, Samut Prakarn, Saraburi, Tak, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Ranong, Samut Songkram, Ang Thong, Chachoengsao, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chumphon, Nonthaburi, Phetchaburi, Lopburi, and Suphan Buri are required to provide an inter-provincial travel approval letter at the time of check-in.
