On this Short Break Adventure from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island, you’ll enjoy guided bushwalks, abundant flora and fauna and a huge coastline primed for some at-your-own-pace exploration. Over a third of Kangaroo Island is protected in nature reserves, meaning this place is home to thousands of sea lions, koalas, birds and native Australian wildlife. Take in the scenery of the Fleurieu Peninsula, explore bushland with a local guide, walk among the sea lions at Seal Bay Conservation Park and visit a Heritage-listed bush property for a picnic. Explore Flinders Chase National Park and Cape du Couedic, where 10,000 fur seals call home. If you’re looking for a nature-filled weekend away from Adelaide – this is for you! This trip has two full days of driving, as well as early morning pick-ups and late evening drop-offs with a combination of bus, ferry and 4X4 vehicles. You will be unaccompanied by a trip leader on the ferries and on the bus. This trip also involves plenty of walking over varied terrain and is best suited to travellers with good mobility.Kangaroo Island can be very windy and this Short Break Adventure involves mostly outdoor activities.
