See ancient history up close at Volubilis’ Roman ruins, step back into the Middle Ages in Fes el Bali and then travel out to the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. Share lunch with locals after exploring the palm groves and Amazigh villages in Todra Gorge and Dades Valley, then toast the success of your adventure with a rooftop drink.Summer temperatures in Morocco can get very hot (over 40°C). If you're travelling in the warmer months, be sure to wear layers, use sun protection and drink plenty of water. Nights can get quite cold, so warm clothes are essential.Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. These are excellent opportunities to get to know your fellow travellers, catch up on some reading, or simply appreciate the scenery.This trip doesn’t spend a lot of time in Marrakech.
